The St. Pius X Women's Circle was founded to accomodate women who are working outside the home during the day because meetings are in the evening. The members share in the duties to care for the sanctuary and sacristry from July through December. Out of their treasury, the group pays for the altar bread, wine and candles for worship.
The group acts as a support for each other and to one another's families as well as provides service, food and money to the parish when it is requested. Various fundraising events help fund the requests from the parish. Recently, a spiritual retreat for women of the parish was offered. Many members of the Women's Circle are also members of the Altar and Rosary society.
The Women's Circle meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm, except in November and December when they meet on the 3rd Wednesday.
If you are interested in joining the Women's Circle, please contact the parish office at (361)993-4053.
